An Nuadha Players are delighted to announce that our Christmas Pantomime for 2025 is The Sword in the Stone; a brand new panto, written by Rían Glynn.
Rían has been a member of the group since he joined as a child in 2002 and he has been heavily involved both on and off stage ever since. This is the first time one of his panto scripts will be brought to the stage and we're very excited to share it with all of you.
25 years on, we're thrilled that our members continuously step up into new roles and love seeing the creativity they bring to our group.
The show will be directed by Rían Glynn, choreographed by Méadhbh Fitzgibbon Moore, with Marie McAndrew as Musical Director.
LAUNCH NIGHT
Join us in the Newtown Inn (upstairs function room) on Tuesday 29th April at 8pm to get all information on this year’s Christmas Pantomime, including auditions and our registration process.
AUDITIONS
Our acting and singing auditions for principal roles are on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th May at 8pm in the Newtown Inn (upstairs function room).
Audition pieces will be provided prior to the auditions to those who have completed an Enrolment Form.
Marie, our Musical Director, will teach a standard audition song. However, if you have a song prepared that you would like to sing, you’re more than welcome to do so – this will be limited to a maximum of 90 seconds.
If you would like to do an acting audition and would rather not sing, or vice-versa, that’s no problem.
Information on auditions for core dancers will be released at a later date.
Due to the increased amount of interest in our Christmas Pantomime, spaces in The Sword in the Stone, Christmas Pantomime 2025, are limited. If you are interested in auditioning for a principal role (speaking part), the core dancers, or you'd like to join the chorus, you must complete an Enrolment Form. Please note that only people we receive Enrolment Forms for can be on stage in this year’s Christmas Pantomime.
Registration will open for a limited time from 30th April - 14th May. The Enrolment Forms will be added to this page on 30th April.
Early registration recommended.
NOTE: You must be in secondary school or upwards to audition or to be part of the main chorus (this includes students beginning first year in 2025).
The enrolment process for primary school children (2nd to 6th class) is separate and the limited spaces are allocated based on a strict Child Enrolment Policy. The policy can be viewed here. Parents/guardians of children involved in A Christmas Carol, Christmas Pantomime 2025, and anyone who registered their interest for their child to be part of this year's panto, will be contacted directly regarding registration. There are currently no more spaces in the Children's Chorus for this year's show.
Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays (principals), Thursdays (full cast for singing & dancing) and Sundays (full cast), with dance rehearsals for core dancers on Saturdays. Please ensure you can commit to the above prior to registering.
Start dates for rehearsals will be confirmed soon.
If you're interested in auditioning and can't make the above dates, please email us at
